Ingredients for 2 servings
- 1 piece of tofu, ~ 400g, slice into pieces and place it on a plate
- 1 spring onion, ~20g, thinly sliced
- 4-5 gloves of garlic, ~20g, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preparation
- Prepare a pot with lid, put a steamer basket inside and boil 2 cups of water.
- Once the water start to boil, put the plate of tofu on the steamer, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, add the garlic and stir fry until golden brown.
- Add spring onions, soy sauce and sesame oil, stir fry 1 more minute and turn off the heat.
- Take the tofu out from the steamer, drain half of the steam water from the plate.
- Pour over the sauce on the steamed Tofu and it is ready to serve.
